Limni Vouliagmenis an amazing place to visit

Limni Vouliagmenis, a real oasis in the southern suburbs of Attica, is located in a naturally beautiful environment in Vouliagmeni, situated on the southern side of Athens, driving direction from Athens to Sounio.

In a verdant natural landscape, full of vegetation and tall trees, between hammocks, hanging beds, and wooden deck chairs, plants and greenery all over, the lake is an exceptional choice, for relaxing and enjoying your swimming. The lake water comes out from springs between 50 and 100 deep and the temperature remains constant between 22C and 29C in winter and summertime.

 
The bottom does not exceed 16 meters and its surface is half a meter above sea level. The water is fed from both underground springs and the sea, and therefore is brackish. At the spot where now the lake stands, there was a huge underground cave within which abundant water was running at high temperatures, which eroded the walls, resulting in the decline of the roof of the cave and the submersion of the massif.

The lake, extremely popular in the residents of southern suburbs and all over Athens, has healing attributes. The hosts of the lake are very friendly and helpful. They will make you feel welcome during your stay. The willing and polite personnel of the restaurant of  the lake will satisfy your needs.

In the restaurant, you may taste a great variety of cocktails and smoothies, delicious salads and tasty light meals, all prepared with fresh and carefully selected ingredients. Enjoy your coffee and hot or cold beverages in a spectacular environment. In the VIP area of lake are organised social events, business meetings, wedding and baptism receptions, theme nights - for cocktail nights up to 800 people, menu up to 400 people and buffet up to 600 people- , children's parties, hosting up to 20 children along with their parents.
