How to reach Naxos: by airplane from Athens airport, Eleftherios Venizelos (flight time 45 minutes) and from Piraeus port by ferry boat (duration 6 hours and 30 minutes) and high – speed boat ( duration 3 hours and 30 minutes).
Also you may travel to Naxos by boat from Rafina port and  from Lavrio.

The major tourist attractions of Naxos are: the hallmark of the island, the famous Portara, the impressive big marble gate, in Chora, Chimarros Tower at Filoti, the Temple of Demetra, the 16th century Venetian castle in Chora, Bazeos Castle, Bellonia Tower, the village Apiranthos, which is also called the marble village and its beautiful museums, Castle of Zevgolis (7th century) , the cave of Za, Tragea area, Archaeological Museum of Naxos, archaeological site of Grotta, the Church of Christ, situated in Damarionas, Panagia Myrtidiotissa chapel, Panagia Drossiani, Sangri village  and the fortified monastery-Tower of Holy Cross, the Routsouna waterfall etc.

 The most famous beaches are: the famous beach of Agia Anna and the unique cedar forest with the sand dunes all over the area, Agiassos, Saint Theodoros, popular beach of Agios Georgios, eminent beach Agios Prokopios, Saint Fykas, Ammitis, Apollo, Kalandos, Kampos Beach, ideal for swimming and fishing, Kleidos, picturesque Lionas Beach,  popular beach Mikri Vigla, ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing , Panermos, famous Plaka, Xilia Vrisi, Laguna, the magnificent beach of Psili Ammos, etc.
